Launched in 2007, these suits combine the speed and compression of Fastskin® in a lightweight fabric. Created in Speedo's exclusive LZR PULSE™ fabric, it offers 15% greater power than any other lightweight suit on the market, due to its unique fabric and garment engineering. Suits have been engineered in 3D, based on body scanned data of elite athletes, vertical reinforced seams are incorporated to minimise drag and fabric is engineered for powerful compression which enhances core stability and body position within the water.

Launched in 2004 and taking the revolutionary Fastskin® even further, the suit was developed using computational fluid dynamics to evaluate the flow of water over a swimmer. The suit contains a combination fabric made of Flexskin and Fastskin® which accommodates the differing water flow patterns over the body reducing drag by 4% more than Fastskin®. Seams are engineered to follow the direction of the water flow to reduce drag and have been designed to be stroke specific giving greater freedom of movement.

The matt and shiny striped finish on the fabric creates differing speeds of water flow across the suit, leading to 23% less surface drag - improving performance with less resistance in the water. The unique fabric construction reduces the amount of water absorbed, making the suit lighter in water and quicker drying, as well as providing excellent stretch and recovery improving its fit.
